Benham Armchair
The Benham Armchair was designed to provide a dynamic alternative to the beloved British icon; the Howard armchair. Stepping away from the Howards’ iconic curvaceous forms, the linear back and arms of the Benham Armchair echo the language of a more traditional Library-style chair whilst its soft curves offer flexibility for use in any setting. The beech frames are made by hand and the upholstery finished by hand in South London. The foam, feather and down upholstery is then finished with a kickpleat, waterfall skirt which conceals tapered, dark-stained legs which sit on antique brass castors.
Shown here upholstered in Warris Vianni, Savannah Rice. Available in 25 alternative colours from the same fabric range. Alternatively, COM fabric can be sent to the workshop and used.
